I am gonna fail at this, No doubt...cos here I sit, trying to pen down what is the most "unpennable" thing ever.I was gazing into the skies one day(something that I do almost everyday) and wondered whatever on earth could be so vast,so infite,so embracing,so inviting,so fascinating,so convincing as the sky.It clicked...Mom's love.Yeah, we have read loads of articles on how precious,unconditional,irreplaceable it is...We would have known it even without reading.Ever wondered on what makes it so curative?Simply so powerful...Feminists: Bargain me out for I aint talking as Woman,blah blah...Simple plain experience.
Ever had a kick better than the one you got out of drinking a glass of Coffee which your mom would fuss over until you finish,lest you get to work without drinking it???Ever had a more sumptous dinner than the one cooked by mommy dearest and fed into your mouth??Ever been cured by a better super specialist than your mother who would pat you to sleep while,wipe your drool off while you slumber, stroke your hair even though you stink of sweat and medicines??? Nah...Infact I pretend to be terribly sick when I know I would be pampered.(Amma, if you reading this...choose to ignore my acting!!! ). Just that one touch over the forehead would shoo off any of those silly symptoms..and those silly Viruses thought they were powerful! duh....Ever had a better salon sitting than sitting with mom with a bottle of oil and getting that massage even if you are completely bald?? In fact they would challenge any trichologist who has predicted herediary pattern baldness with that massage! whether the hair grows or not is one thing, but the sleep that you get outta it- is one of eternity :))Ever had a more beautiful looking woman next to you than your mom-the babe, who would take hours to comb her hair and pull out her best looking saree for your nursery school annual day?? Ever heard of a better news publication faster,more exhaustive and most patronising about you than Editor Mom??Even when you got the 10th rank out of 11 students in your class, your entire neighbourhood would know you as a "Rank Holder"...Courtesy: Mom!Ahhh and not to forget your secretary who would at any point of time where you throw anything and everything around; would exactly figure out where you could be at what point of time; who would advice you to go to the loo once at home when you have a long day out even when you are 20 something, whose first priority would be to check that you arent starving at anytime of the day....the list is on and on...as Vast as the skies out there.
The best of the lot however is that scolding you get from her for being irresponsible,careless,useless,insensible blah blah blah...and in a second everything will change to pampering when you tell that you are hungry...
Moms' conquests are endless.What a silly attempt to quantify the infite Kala.duh!!Raghudeep always says" Kala,you do a bad job at trying to express the inexpressible,dont even attempt it I say!!"...You right! I just cant seem to express this enough, I told you in the beginning!
